Leveling from 1-60 (and soon to be 1-70 with the upcoming Burning Crusade expansion) can be fun the first few times, but then on your third or fourth character might be a bit of a pain. Likewise, if you are playing your first character, knowing where and how to level as efficiently as possible (i.e. not running for 30 minutes to turn in a 300XP quest) can also be a problem.
This is where leveling guides come in. You will find some for free, and you will find some that cost money. I can't comment on the paid ones, but of the free ones there are only a handful that are truly helpful, and you will find links directly to them below.

- The Warlocks Den - Undead Leveling Guide (but can be used for any horde character) - click here. You will need to sort through the posts, each post will tell you how to level several times, then you move on to the next one.
- Anonymous - Horde Leveling Guide - click here. This one is unforunately scanned images and not actual text
- WoW-Pro - Miscellaneous Leveling Guides - click here. Different guides that cover varying levels throughout the game.
