In an upcoming mini-patch, we're going to be substantially decreasing the mana cost for both earth shield and lightning shield. Additionally, water shield will restore mana periodically regardless of how many charges remain and once again have a ten minute duration. It's important to note that this is NOT a nerf to the ability. The same amount of mana will be restored, just in a different way that is now not so demanding on the player.

Yup, it's a bug...

We're aware that the Shaman Tier 6 restoration set currently does not have a cost requirement on it and we're working to resolve this as soon as possible.

We will be going to great lengths to remove the items already purchased, and tracking them down if they've been moved or converted in any way. Do not enchant or socket a gem into the items as they will be deleted when the item is.

Shamans still aren't happy and rebelling in numbers as WoW Insider reports:

First there was dot shock. Then there was a new PTR build, and for a time, all was peaceful. Now, witness the birth of a new era of Shaman protest: re-rolling. Yes, the Shaman forums are abuzz with posters pledging to re-roll any class but Shaman, on Auchindoun, Horde side. And yes, they have named their guild none other than <Dude Wheres My Shaman>. I'll forgive them the lack of an apostrophe, if only because I really like the movie. ]

You probably heard about the massive uproar from Shamans about the PVP nerf to silencing...

After further discussion about the change in patch 2.3 which adds diminishing returns to silencing effects, we've decided to revert the change. Though we do feel that being chain school locked is a problem and plan to address it at some point in the future, we weren't comfortable with the amount of testing this particular change received.

Enhancement shamans are having their dead zone removed too? Just like hunters did? See the blue post:

Hey, I'm just glad we finally might consider removing the deadzone from enhancement shaman!

Some Shamans are complaining their mana regen is shit compared to other classes and that they are effectively screwed when it depletes. I think they forgot they wear mail and have melee capabilites too!
Are Paladins and Shamans getting along? They are both similar in PVE (aside from the awesome Pally buffs) and are similar in PVP too. Someone asked their guild members what each thought of the other class...

A you perhaps rolling a new Alliance character and want to go Shaman? Not sure what to do or how to play the class? Well here is a document that explains specifically most of things you need to know!

The following document was created to help Shaman, specifically Draenei Shaman, as they find themselves as the new class in the Alliance. It's also useful for those who are about to group with a Shaman (or two or three), to understand what role a shammy will play in your group or raid. Finally, it's definitely a good read for anyone who's just picking up the Shaman class, to give you a bit of a jump on your fellow players in knowing your place in groups and raids.

Possibly the first level 60 Dranei Shaman has been made, and they also managed to do it in only 3 days 9 hours /played!

Either they had some help like that French guy who made level 70 first, or we have a new record power leveller!

"It was a fun and a blast to watch and lead in. My partenar in organization Garue did an excellent job that night organizing the horde side. We did what we set out to do, accomplish a 40 Paladin Vs 40 Shaman engagement and having it filmed. Many thanks goes out to my friends who help make this possible on Scarlet Crusade server.

Two versions are up. The WM Promo is lower Quality because I do not have the editing software my friend has and used window movie maker :( , the second mirror is higher Quality for those of you who may notice the slight drop in music and video quality. "

Up until now the Hunter and Shaman tier T5 sets were not viewable (not the complete set anyway).

What does everyone think of them? I think the Shaman one looks pretty sweet, same with the Hunter one, not bad at all !
