Medidation for priests is getting a buff in the next patch:

Meditation will allow a total of 30% of your mana regeneration to continue while casting in the next patch, however.

Big debate going on in the forums... are priests obligated to res fallen party members?
To pre-shield or not to pre-shield. Some people swear by it, others shun it - and there is now a big debate in the forums of whether it should occur or not. (priest ability - Power Word: Shield btw)
Want to top the healing meters for your instance runs? Well here is a step by step guide for priests on how to do it. Practically it may not be the best way of keeping your guild alive, but if all they care about is healing meters then you should be fine!

They discuss a forum post asking if Blizzard can make healing a bit less boring and repetitive than it currently is...

I feel it's important at this point to stress that the OP doesn't want to hybridize Priests away from being great healers, per se, he just wants to make that job more active and fun, instead of reactive and repetitive. Or at least that's my interpretation. And as far as that goes, I agree with him pretty well. I love healing, it's why I rolled a Priest, and Prayer of Mending was a big step in the right direction, but the class could use a lot more work.

Funny thread, one priest who is holy says he will never heal or even group with a shadow priest. He then proceeds to get ripped to shreds by everyone else, including other priests. Where's the unity!?

I spec'd holy. Why? It's a good deal easier to get a group for an instance as a healer than as a dps. And in pvp heals are infinitely more valuable than a little bit more dps. I didn't spec holy, however, so that I could heal you while you're in shadowform. If you're in shadowform at ANY point when heals would be more valuable... you are bad and or you should have rolled a warlock.

Priests are set to get a hotfix that will allow them to wear the Gladiator shoulder and head armor pieces.

Blue poster Tseric announced on the WoW Forums a little hotfix that should correct the ability grants of the Gladiator's Satin Hood and the Gladiator's Satin Mantle. Heads up, Priests!

It was discovered that these two items only granted pure healing capabilities rather than a combination of damage and healing bonuses. Even though he claimed this was only discovered at the Public Test Realm, the fix may be applied to active realms. This hasn't been confirmed yet, however.

As WoW Insider reports, priest will be nerfed in the coming patch. Shadow priests have less damage and holy priests have one of their key spells put on to a cooldown... And I thought everyone had been saying they needed a buff!?

Ever gotten too smart to a healer and ended up paying with your life? It would be a regular occurance it seems. If only there was some way to ensure they were dishing out the justice fairly, and didn't actually just plain suck!

Healers have an exceptional capability to get revenge on other players, particularly on overzealous DPSers. The healers of my guild joke about a "blacklist" for hunters, rogues, mages and warlocks who anger them -- if you're on the blacklist, you get to die to AOE or your own aggro pulling until the healers feel you've suffered enough. They don't actually have the blacklist ... I think.

You know how dwarven priests are like what undead warriors are - in terms of how much their racials own? Well it turns out that in BC Draenei Priests are going to get a fear ward too! Meaning that makes it 2 for the ally classes and none for the horde.

BTW Blood Elves get a consume magic ability - no where near as good as fear ward!
