Here's a taste of this weeks version of GuildWatch. The full thing after the jump... A strange tale of almost-drama from Drak'Thul-A. Khaos Society is a guild that is just starting to take down Gruul, while Blood Moon Clan is a guild that has Kara on farm, but hasn't rounded up enough to go to Gruul. So Khaos was eight people short on a Gruul run, and they invited BMC folks to go with them. Unfortunately, Khaos' lost lambs showed up before the raid started, so KS kicked the BMC folks to let their guildies in. That means drama right there, right? Wrong-- BMC talked with KS, and the two guilds decided, instead of fighting, to merge into Blood and Khaos. They've got the people and the raiders now to head into the higher content. Good for them.

Here's a sample: Finally, we got lots of tips about this one (thanks, everybody!): Vindication on Bladefist saw about 15 of their top raiders decide to leave for another server, and it led to this amazing thread of drama-- it doesn't take more than a page before girlfriends start getting attacked. Oh, and there's more (isn't there always?): Gimped, leader of Vindication, was apparently seriously angry that Unrest, another guild on Bladefist, had beaten them to a kill, and that's why he decided to ninja their guild bank, and haul off with a few of his closest friends to Stormrage. And the best part of all? When they started recruiting on Stormrage, they didn't exactly get a warm reception. And as for Vindication, Bladefist's Alliance side has decided to team up like never before-- Unrest is actually helping their former rivals, since they've proven they can progress without Gimped and his crowd.

Here's the latest version of Guild Watch. They linked to a site I didn't know about - www.wowbash.com - that is actually more funny to read.

This is a pretty funny post and a definite must for all the WoW addicts out there - what would your lisence plate frame say if you had it done in a World of Warcraft theme? I've only ever seen one on the roads here and can't remember what it said :D

Some OK stuff in Guild Watch this week, including some Ninja going around on the Nerz'hul server. That's always funny.

There are two new World of Warcraft commericals on TV - one featuring William Shatner and the other Mr. T!

Some OK stuff in Guild Watch this week I guess, nothing juicy though. I didn't read the whole thing!

Good Guild Watch from WoW Insider this week, here's a sample: I think this is the first "girl drama" tip we've had from the girl who supposedly caused the drama. "Apparently," says our tipster, "I'm a flirt, and cute," and her "outgoing personality" caused a lot of male guild members to spend time following her around, jumping on vent to speak with her, and so on. One day, she logged on to find out that she'd been /gkicked, because the GM supposedly believed she was singlehandledly keeping them from raid progressing. The joke's on him, though-- after she was kicked, people started quitting when they found out she wasn't around any more, and the entire 125 person guild fell apart. "I'm wondering," she says, "if it is possible for one woman to be the complete downfall of a guild." Well, is it?

A fairly light version of the weekly Guild Watch this week... here's a sample: Kind of old drama from Misha-A but why not. So Ascension was apparently gutted when the guild's MT and a Warlock poobah decided to take over and make their own guild, Apocalypse. But just after they finally started raiding again (and attract some transfers from other servers), they blow up again-- insulting old guildies and even the new transfers. The MT who had originally split things up with him turned on him and did some /gkicking of his own and, as our tipster says, "things collapsed entirely." The really bad news is that the only reason these two numbskulls were able to take over is that Ascension was originally run by a husband and wife team, apparently great guildleaders, who took a break from the game. Shame that a good guild like that falls apart due to drama.

A return to some good old fashioned drama on Guild Watch this week... a lot of it coming from the EU players! - A tangled web of drama from EU Shadowsong (we're going to have lots of EU tips today, I think). Harudath tried to make a forum thread about a former guildie of his named Galvan, who formed Electric Union, and stole members of Harudath's former guild, Exiles. Worth checking out for the wall of pink chat text, as well as Galvan's phrasing (which doesn't win him any friends). Drama continues here, when it's discovered that Harudath joins Gavlan's new guild (Genesis) anyway.

Here's the latest Guild Watch... including a video of Paladin tanking the Prince. Along with all the usual drama etc. I was just joking when I said "video or it didn't happen" to a guild's announcement of a Paladin-tanked Prince kill last week, but they weren't messing around: they actually got me video. You guys didn't have to go to all that trouble! But since you did, I'll say this: Ok, some Paladins, in some situations, with the right group makeups, may possibly, at times, be able to tank.

Here's a funny video entitled "How to Beat a Warlock" PS: Nerf Fear!
